Yee Mee Loo
West Hollywood's Formosa Cafe was originally opened in 1925. After a 2 1/2 year remodel, it reopened in 2019. This drink was created to honor the now closed Yee Mee Loo bar in Chinatown. The Formosa Cafe features part of the original bar from the Yee Mee Loo
A little alcohol forward, even with 40 proof white rum instead of 151. Other evident flavor is the pineapple. Surprisingly close to balanced for not really including a sour component like lemon or lime. Not impressed 3/5 stars
