Nui Nui
Nui is the Hawaiian word for 'great'. Created by Don the Beachcomber in the mid 30s and originally known as the Pupule (crazy). Good but a little short on volume. 4/5 stars
Nice drink, one of the few vintage cocktails that measures up to modern expectations, in my opinion. Well balanced, a little tart with a slight bitter component. Predominant flavor is spice; Allspice, Clove, Cinnamon, and Vanilla.
