Bermuda Rum Swizzle
Jay Corriera, proprietor of the Swizzle Inn on Bailey's Bay Bermuda, claims the Bermuda Rum Swizzle was created here in 1932. The owners wanted something to distinguish the pub and came up with this drink. Note the drink is originally listed as a 4 glass pitcher drink and has been reformatted here as a single drink. It is also written as "the juice of 2 lemons" for 4 drinks.
I like the romanticism of vintage cocktail recipes but many of them just seem to fall flat on the modern palate. This drink has good volume and is well enough balanced. But it has nothing to set it apart. 3/5 stars.
