Blended Margarita
An interesting blended margarita recipe from Liquid Intelligence by food science writer Dave Arnold. He says "This recipe works because both Cointreau and Yellow Chartreuse have high alcohol and high sugar contents, so the amount of liquid in the recipe is lower, even though the alcohol level is the same."
Ingredients
- Cointreau - 1 fl oz
- Mezcal - 1½ Tbsp
- Yellow Chartreuse - 1 Tbsp
- Lime Juice - 1 Tbsp
- Ice - 4¼ oz
- Hellfire Bitters - 10 drop
- Salt - 1 pinch
