Le cocktail Pink Lady aurait été créé dans les années 1930 aux Etats-Unis, dans un speakeasy ou bar clandestin. Cette boisson plus douce et à la couleur rose était à l'origine avant tout destinée aux femmes, pour qui il était encore interdit de boire dans des bars à cette époque.
