Brooklyn
The earliest mention of the Brooklyn is in the 1908 Jack's Manual, but
it was all-but-forgotten until its recent rediscovery as part of the current
cocktail renaissance. The original recipe called for Amer Picon, which
hasn't been available outside of Europe for several decades. You can
substitute Italian Amaro or Torani Amer if you have trouble finding Amer
Picon.
