Honi Honi
A whiskey variation of a Mai Tai. Adapted from Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide (1972 Revised Edition) The name of this vintage Tiki drink means "kiss kiss"
Rather bourbon forward, only 2 oz but only 2 oz of other ingredients. Well balanced with a delicate play between the sweet and the sour. The orgeat is faint and I can't really detect the triple sec, seems that the simple syrup could have been replaced with more orgeat or triple sec. Good drink, I'll give it 4/5 stars because of my bias against low volume drinks.
