Falafel
A traditional Mediterranean staple, falafels are simple and inexpensive to prepare. Often served as part of a Mezza platter with drinks before a meal, falafels are great on their own, with hummus, or tzatziki for dipping or wrapped up in fresh warm pita bread. Falafels get their signature crunch by using caution to not overblend the dough, which leaves small chunks of garbanzo beans. These small chunks will result in an amazing texture once the falafel is fried to a lovely golden brown.
