Salted Caramel Brownie With Pretzel Crust

Salted caramel has become a mainstream flavor frequently seen in ice cream, candy bars, and on dessert menus everywhere. While creating this recipe we wanted to find a way to elevate the salted caramel experience without making a brownie that was so loaded with caramel it couldn't be picked up. That's when it dawned on us to add a salty base layer which could support a rich chocolate brownie perfectly swirled with sweet-salty caramel. We processed salted pretzels then added just the right amount of sugar, flour, and butter to bind it all together into a crust so delicious we recommend you try this recipe just to experience it!
