Yule Log

Yule Log cakes were created to resemble a log that was used to celebrate Yuletide joy. The history of the yule log is said to date back to a 6th or 7th century Pagan tradition. It is a celebration of the warmth and abundance that happens around Christmas time, but it is not thought to be a religious practice.
