Banana Cream Pie
This cool cream pie is brimming with bananas! Macerated banana and brown sugar custard adds a rich layer of flavor to the slices of fresh banana that are packed into a flaky pie crust. A little (optional) rum extract kicks up the whipped cream topping. For a really decadent composition, try adding a drizzle of caramel sauce just before serving. Preparation of a Pie Dough, Fully-Baked is required before beginning this recipe.
