Hamantaschen
Hamantaschen are traditional Jewish cookies made with cream cheese pastry filled with fruit preserves and sometimes dried fruit and/or nuts. The tender pastry is so delicious that it's worth taking extra care to keep the delicate dough at the right temperature. The dough is easier to fold around the filling at room temperature but easiest to roll flat and best baked a little colder. All of the needed chill steps are included in this recipe.
