Strawberry Sorbet
Strawberry sorbet is an excellent way to use overripe berries, which can be stored in the freezer until you have enough to make a batch. Of course you can also buy frozen ones at the store; usually they are picked and flash frozen at the peak of the season. Using a mixture of strawberries ranging in ripeness will result in a unique depth of flavor. Either way you will be celebrating the flavorful blast of summer, hopefully with a lovely glass of rosé and shortbread cookies.
