Pancakes

This globally popular breakfast item began in ancient Greece in the 5th century BC where they were called tagenites from the Greek word for frying pan. The Middle English word pancake appeared during the 1400s. It seems every culture has some version of a pancake. This recipe results in very light and fluffy pancakes.
