Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Few cookies are as eye catching as the crinkle cookie. Crinkle cookies get their distinct look from rolling the dough liberally in powdered sugar before baking. The powdered sugar forms a crust around the dough which cracks and crumbles as the dough expands and bakes inside of it, and also provides a delicate sweetness to the finished product. Rich and chocolaty with a brownie like texture, these cookies are always a crowd pleaser.
