Double Chocolate Cherry Cookies
One element that makes these cookies so "chewy" is the addition of dried
cherries that have been plumped and pureed. The flavor of the fruit may not
stand out against the chocolate but the unique, delightfully soft, chewy
texture most certainly will. Feel free to experiment with other dried fruits
like currants, blueberries, raisins or cranberries.
