Caramel Apple Bars

This recipe has all the flavor of a caramel apple without the pesky stick, or the sticky mess. It's a dense, flavorful apple cinnamon bar topped with sliced apples and covered in caramel sauce. Bake times on this recipe vary quite a bit depending on how much moisture the apples add to the batter.
