Apple Almond Bread Pudding
Harvest time brings us a myriad of wonderful flavors, including a wide variety of apples. Loaded with apples and topped with almonds for a look and taste to impress your friends and family, this apple bread pudding is perfect for your next holiday get together. It's so good you can eat it by itself or top it with salted bourbon caramel sauce to really do your taste buds a favor. It's good hot or cold so save the leftovers and have a quick and easy dessert the next day. We recommended that you pick a good baking apple for this one, like a Granny Smith or a Fuji. If you don't have stale bread you can always lightly toast some slices at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes and let them dry for 30 minutes or so. We also recommended using a light, slightly sweet bread like a birosh, challah, or good quality white bread.
